Since you have decided on an impressive and vast wedding expect the special event to last for ten hours or so. Depending on the number of the guests and friends but also on other important details regarding the party and photography, your wedding may last for up to twelve hours. This means that the band that you are about to invite at the wedding or the playlist should also be set and prepared for a long event. Usually, people opt for an eight hour (average) wedding so that they can meet their older friends and colleagues and talk to them for hours. Inviting a band or a celebrity may extended the wedding with more hours because there is no doubt that if your guests will enjoy listening to them they will want to stay until morning. Also, if you want to take a lot of pictures this might also take you a few extra hours, which means that the special event can turn into a long lasting rendezvous. The buffet may extend the event especially if you opt for a sit-down affair. Today couples prefer the buffet-style over the sit-down to make their wedding shorter.

The wedding’s time varies with location, which means that if you plan the wedding on an island or exotic place the event may last for a very long time and this is because your friends will not be able to resist the surroundings.
